[Design] - The Lounge, Still cooking
As mentioned in the previous post, currently fleshing out a few rooms in Blender, not only to get some ideas flowing, but also to then use as the foundation for prototyping the rest of the game mechanics.
As such, for now I am using freely available models I can find that are consistent with the style I have in mind for the game. Some may end up staying, some are more likely to serve as inspiration for something else. I am making assets in Blender myself also (such as the hallway foundations, stairway, pictures etc.), but they are time consuming to make, so expect these to show up more much further down the line.
Screenshot is from Blender, thus not equiv to in game lighting. Once I have finished sorting textures out and filling the room I will do a run through like I did with the hallway to get an idea how it's likely to look.
